You can manage, heal, and reverse pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes without medications and even manage your blood sugar levels if you have type 1 diabetes - all using the power of nourishing foods. Here’s how to escape the cycle caused by medications and injections often required when dealing with the insulin based condition, by switching up your meal plan and learning how to deal with your blood sugar levels - naturally!

Here are the Best Foods to Control and Reverse Diabetes Naturally

If you currently have type 2 diabetes (or pre-diabetes) you know just how important your diet is when it comes to controlling your diabetic symptoms. The problem is, you are very likely part of the extremely high percentage of diabetes sufferers who are also genuinely confused by all the information and advice thrown around about exactly ‘what’ and the ‘how’ of the changes you need to make to your diet.

More than one in every 10 adults who are 20 years or older has diabetes, and over the past several decades, this chronic disorder has swept through the America and many nations in an almost epidemic-like manner, proving that conflicting info really isn’t leading us in the right direction.

Shocking right? But here’s the great news.

You CAN reverse type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes. You DO NOT NEED to just control it.

There is answer, and that answer is quite straightforward and simple.

Diabetes is often treated by pushing medications that reduce blood sugar levels and help your body use your insulin more effectively, but switching up your meal plan and simply eating foods that don’t raise blood sugar very much is absolutely essential for keeping blood sugar levels steady, and can reversing PRE-DIABETES and TYPE 2 DIABETES.

As I said you can start the processes of reversing your type 2 diabetes without medication.

This life changing discovery is something you’ve most likely never heard about, probably because big pharma does not want you to hear about it. Big industry designed a system to keep you spending money on their drugs and actually may want to keep you shackled to prescription drugs and insulin shots to keep getting the revenue from these ‘medications’.

Fixing this health crisis is definitely something that needs to be done. Just to give you the big picture: diabetes is a 242-billion-dollar industry in America, with the average diabetic spending 243 THOUSAND dollars over their lifetime once being diagnosed with diabetes.

Can you see how it all works now?… just awful, right?!

But, by losing weight (if you’re over-weight), reducing sugar, processed carbs, and some simple carbs from your diet and by your filling your plate with the right foods, you can also make a huge impact on managing your blood sugar levels if you have type 1 diabetes and work on reversing type 2 diabetes, while reducing the need for medications.

I won’t go into detail on the whole connection sugar and carb has with your diabetes in this post, since I want to focus on going beyond the crucial step of cutting carbs and reducing sugar consumption and focus on adding diabetic healing foods to a healthy diabetic diet.

But, a short summary of that would be that the overconsumption of sugars, simple carbs, and processed carbohydrate leads to insulin resistance, where your fat, liver cells and muscles, won’t respond properly (they start resisting or ignoring the signals insulin sends out to help you process all of the sugar you just ingested), causing a chain reaction and leaving excess glucose in your blood.

After a time this insulin resistance may lead to scary conditions like obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and some serious female specific health issues!

If you’re interested I have put together a whole Ultimate Guide to Sugar and Carb with Diabetes + healing it Naturally. In it I explain how Sugar and Carbs can cause diabetes, and how reducing forms of it can reverse diabetes - BUT for now lets take a look at the best foods you should start eating to control diabetes!

A perfect, healing, balancing pre-diabetic/diabetic diet should include a mix of nutrient-rich, lower carb foods, moderate amount of carb fiber-rich foods, non-starchy veggies, protein packed foods and healthy fats.

Following this diet will not only help reduce blood sugar levels and possibly reverse pre-diabetic/type 2 diabetic symptoms, but will also improve overall health, may protect against other chronic conditions and even keep your waistline in check, and as we now know keeping a healthy weight is a major factor in reversing type 2 diabetes.

Luckily following a specific clean eating diabetic diet that’ll help you lose weight and manage your blood sugar levels doesn’t have to be difficult. Actually, if you incorporate just a few diabetes-friendly healing and balancing foods into your routine (along with of course cutting out sugary foods and sodas), it should help enhance insulin sensitivity and stabilize blood sugar.

Let us take a look at the best foods you should start eating to control (even heal pre- and type 2) diabetes, and what foods you should start to avoid to bring balance back to your physical body.
