Cozy up in your autumn sweater and sip on a warm cup pumpkin spice latte with a twist - it’s made with chai instead of coffee! Sound mind blowingly amazing right? And it’s sugar free, vegan, keto friendly, and low carb - does it get better than this?

After a new trend of chai pumpkin spice lattes began to grew on the Starbucks secret menu, my lovely friend Julie told me she couldn’t stop heading through the Starbucks drive through for one of these magical brews!

So on my treat day, I stopped for one of these rising autumn star drinks and tried it first hand… well it’s delicious and tastes like vanilla-ey pumpkin pie with a flavor of sweet snicker-doodle that has been dipped in a warm glass of milk.

But sadly this drink had artificial aftertaste and a whole ton of not great ingredients… and so I realized that I could definitely make this dreamy autumn drink into something guilt free, natural, sugar free and even better tasting, saving both me and my friend from unwanted calories and that health wrecking calories sugar and artificial ingredients.

Boom… after some testing in the kitchen my Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Chai Latte Recipe, it tastes like chai tea latte with pumpkin spice sauce, and it combines the best of both worlds with sweet and spicy notes.

This drink is pumpkin spice, chai tea, sweetness, spice and basically everything nice. If you’re a lover of pumpkin spice latte and/or chai tea latte, this is for you. Also if you want make this drink more psl then chai latte, top it with unsweetened or stevia sweetened whipped cream and powdered cinnamon. Voila!

Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Chai Latte

Servings: 1-2

INGREDIENTS:

  • ¾ cup water
  • 4 teaspoons chai blend loose leaf or 2 chai bags (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup milk or unsweetened vanilla oat milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 to 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch ground nutmeg
  • pinch ground ginger
  • 3 drops vanilla stevia, to taste

HOW TO MAKE IT:

  1. Pour water and add tea leaves or bags into a stove-top pan. Watch carefully and bring to a boil. Turn off and cover for 2 minutes. Remove the tea bags or strain the leaves.

  2. Add the rest of your ingredients into the tea and heat on medium-low heat. Stir frequently, until the milk is heated and ingredients are combined.

  3. Serve as is or I prefer to add the mix into a milk frother and pump until frothy and well combined. Optionally use sugar-free whipped cream or powdered cinnamon on top and serve in your favorite cozy mug or mason jar!
