If you're new around here, let me introduce myself. I’m Isabelle, the Isabelle behind the IsabelleMcKenzie.com, and its founder, and I’m thrilled to have you here.
I focus on sugar balance (I’m a recovering sugar-addict!), self-care, mind, body, health, and financial abundance (because let’s face it-- in today’s world money problems and lack of financial resources equal stress and lack of opportunity), and I’m passionately dedicated to helping teach you how to live your happiest, healthiest life and reach your goals so that you can create the life that will have you jumping out of your bed in the morning excited to actually live!
Why sugar balance in particular is so important to me!
As I mentioned above, I’ve had a long and complicated relationship with sugar I would find every excuse to have sugar- to celebrate, to pick-me up if I was tired, to feel cozy watching a favorite film, if I felt nervous, upset… you get the picture.
I was in a constant cycle of sugar cravings and binges, cutting it out for a couple of days, and then binging again. I was suffering chronic health issues, what I didn’t realize at the time was that the two were related. [Hint: sugar can be toxic- yikes]
In my desperation to get my health back, it took me on an epic journey to learn everything I could on health and wellness, the power of foods to heal and nourish your body, and the importance of identify what you may be consuming that is wrecking your health. #SugarAddiction
I knuckled down, and went on a quest to change my life. It all started with tons of research. I started ploughing through masses of information containing different ideas, methods, and lifestyle practices, and I began testing them on myself (and to be honest, on my poor family too)!
Bingo! I stuck with it and was able to distill what actually, really, really worked into one effective and proven plan, and what I turned into my Sugar Balance + Wellness Circle.
That was four entire years ago, and I haven’t looked back!
